Building your own shed can save you a lot of money. Furthermore if you are handy with tools, building your own shed can be a lot of fun. You can get the family to join in on the fun. It adds a sense of pride having built your own sheds, right?
But do you really need the free plans?
Well, there are plenty of free shed blueprints you can find online. I’ve looked at a few but I have not found one that is complete. Maybe you could find a good one if you look hard enough?
However, it is better having a blueprint than having to draw your own design from scratch. Or is it not? In my opinion, it depends on how good the free plan is. Of course some are better than others. Some just have the basic drawing while others may have more guides like cut chart and material list.
Cut chart is particularly important as it shows you exactly where to cut so that you don’t waste lumber cutting the wrong size and having to buy more lumber to replace the scrapped ones. In the same sense, a material list enables you to buy exactly what you need to build your own shed so that you don’t buy what you don’t need and save time when you do not have to keep going to the home improvement store to buy things necessary for the build.
While you can find free shed blueprints online, you may be better off save some time by spending a few bucks on professionally designed blueprints. You know, finding things online can be a challenge, you will get easily distracted by different interesting things.
Paid shed blueprints can cost anywhere between 5 dollars to over 20 dollars a piece, maybe more. However, do you know that you can buy a collection of thousands of blueprints designed by the professionals for pennies on the dollar? The collection contains not just shed plans but any woodworking plan you can imagine like garage plans, table plans, dog house plans, potting shed plans, log cabin plan – to name a few. That should keep you occupied for years to come!
You can get some free sample blueprints from the collection suppliers too. Maybe the sample is enough for your need? Why not have a look?
Free shed blueprints may be good but why waste time looking for a free one when you can get thousands of them for pennies on the dollar? Head over to http://www.build-your-own.info to learn more.

Are you one of the Americans who spend hundreds of dollars a month in offsite storage fees? Do you like to save the money by having your own storage shed and save further money in building the shed yourself? Or perhaps your car garage is cluttered by stuffs you have been collecting over the years so you need another storage shed? If so then you need a good shed plan as a guide.
When it comes to woodworking projects, I’m not fond of free plans. This includes free shed plans. Don’t get me wrong, like most of you I like freebies! However, in this case I found that free doesn’t necessarily mean you can save money. Why?
The free plans are incomplete.
Most were designed by amateur DIYers just like you and I. Even if they were designed by the professionals, most of the times they are designed as a teaser to get you to buy the full versions.
A complete plan should have a full material list so that you can take it to your local Home Improvement Store to estimate the cost of raw materials. Also, it should have a complete measurement chart so that you don’t waste timber when you cut the wrong size.
A professionally designed plan also has a step by step instruction with clear drawings, most of the times in full color and some even have video tutorials to guide you through the building process.
If you asked the thousands of DIYers who had used free shed plans to build their own sheds, I’m sure most of them will say they had actually spent more time, if not money, using the free plans as guide.
So, to save you time and money (and sweat) later on, you better spend a few dollars buying a professionally designed shed plans. Maybe you could find a good free shed plan online but I have not found one. Why waste your precious time when you can get a bundle of professionally designed shed plans in addition to other woodworking plans for literally pennies on the dollar?
For a large selection of plans for all sorts of DIY woodworking projects, not just storage shed plans at an affordable price head over to http://www.build-your-own.info

Just ask the thousands of people who have built house for their dogs using free plans. I am sure most of them will tell you that they actually spent more money and time than anticipated. If you are like me, I bet you will listen to them. Am I right?
I know what your attention is – to save a few bucks by using free doghouse plans. I can understand that but what I found is that you are better off spending a few dollars on a professionally designed plan. Actually you can save a lot of money, time and sweat this way.
Imagine how you will feel when many of the lumber you cut are of the wrong sizes. Cut them longer then you are probably lucky as you can cut them shorter but that would also mean you will need more lumber for other areas. Yes you can extend those that had been cut shorter than they should be cut but that does not look very professional does it? Whatever it is you are likely to end up needing more lumber than you thought which also means more money!
Then imagine when there is no clear step by step instruction, you need to redo some of the steps or worst still when you need to tear the doghouse up altogether and start building it again! That must be really frustrating I should say.
Also, how frustrating you will feel when the finished doghouse is too small your dog doesn’t like it and doesn’t want to use it! Free doghouse plans sometimes don’t offer flexibility in choosing the right size to build for your dog.
To avoid making these mistakes, rather than using free doghouse plans you are better off spending a few bucks on professionally designed plans. Great doghouse plans designed by the professional to save you time and money and make your dog happy can be found herehttp://www.build-your-own.info

When it comes to building a doghouse or any other woodwork structure for that matter, having a plan as a guide is important. A good plan will save you a lot of time, money and sweat.
There are a lot of free doghouse plans on the Internet you can download but it is likely that you get what you pay for. On the Internet free does not always mean good or complete.
A good plan should at least have these three points covered:
1. Has a Step by Step Instruction. This will help you save time and energy.
2. Has a Cut Chart. This will save you a lot of time and wood by telling you exactly what sizes to pre-cut the wood into.
3. Flexibility. You want to build a house that fits the size of your dog. Build too small, you dog will not be comfortable. Build too big, your dog will suffer from cold comes winter. A good plan gives you the flexibility to build the right size house for your dog.
It could be time consuming searching for a good plan in the first place. You are better off spending a few dollars on a good plan now than having to spend more money and time later. Furthermore professionally-designed doghouse plans come with everything you will need and more – some has video instruction which will help you a lot and when you encountered a problem, you can always ask their expert and be answered in a matter of hours, sometimes minutes!
There you are. Three tips to look for when choosing free doghouse plans to make your building job much easier. Great doghouse plans designed by the professional to save you time and money and make your dog happy can be found here http://www.build-your-own.info

It takes more than a roll of the dice to build a profitable business, let alone a beloved business. But Danny McDonald’s tactics have been right on the money and straight from the heart. The Portage la Prairie-based entrepreneur started Triple Seven Tours in 1995; ten years later, he knows the first names of his 1,800 regular customers and rings in annual sales of 0,000. At age 56, he has no intention of retiring, simply because he truly loves what he does.
Leisure travel has been this entrepreneur’s career staple. He has owned both a hotel and a motel, and he worked as a travel company sub-agent before coming up with Triple Seven Tours. McDonald recognized a niche in Portage la Prairie and its environs and went for it.
“I saw a real need for a bus tour company that could offer day trips to seniors who live in smaller towns,” he explains. “They really have no other way get out. They’re mostly widows — they’ve worked hard, now the husband is gone, and they just want to go somewhere, spend some money, have some fun.”
Corporate tours and sports team transport provide Triple Seven Tours with additional streams of revenue, but it’s this senior segment that puts the bread and butter on McDonald’s table. The company ferries the merry widows to destinations of their choice — from garage sales to nearby national parks. But most trips target the two large casinos an hour away in Winnipeg. Each of the eight communities Triple Seven serves has an appointed organizer who gets the ladies together and plans outings. It’s easy to understand why McDonald’s customers keep coming back. “In the winter or after dark”, he says, “I let the gals off at their doors. When they toggle the porch light switch, I know they’re safely inside.”
McDonald attributes his start-up success to Manitoba’s Heartland Community Futures Development Corporation. Assistance from CFDC included a week-long course to develop his business plan. (He’s proud that his exemplary plan was integrated into instruction materials.) He also received management consulting help and ,000 in financial assistance to purchase his 25-seat bus. By 2000, he had paid off his loan, bought a second bus and established a satellite office in nearby Brandon.
McDonald is a devoted family man; his daughter and son both work full-time for Triple Seven. Every spring, he treats about 20 members of his extended family to a fishing trip in northern Manitoba. “Customers appreciate the two-generation tone of our business,” he says. “They never call us the second week in June — they know the McDonalds have gone fishing.” He applies his family values to the business; most of his tour traffic comes from repeat customers. New customers sign on through word of mouth. McDonald is amazed by the customers who write him signed blank cheques each year, with the instruction to fill in the necessary amounts.
With such a devoted customer base, there’s no need for general advertising. Three times a year he sends out a mailer to his database of 1,167 households, outlining upcoming events. Twice a year he runs a customer appreciation tour to the casino, with a Happy Hour and contests to win free trips and merchandise. McDonald also organizes cross-border tours to destinations like California, New York and Branson. He takes a few seats out of the back of the bus and sets up a lounge where passengers can play cards. About two months before a trip, he visits customer’s homes to take pictures and create biographies about their families and interests. He compiles these into a book that profiles each passenger, and gives it a relevant title such as Cruisin’ California or To the Bayou and Back. On the first day of the tour, each passenger receives a copy. “The book is a great ice-breaker,” says McDonald. “By the time we’re heading home, they’re getting each other to sign their books—just like high school.”
The appreciation is mutual. Customers invite McDonald to barbecues and family events. Each Christmas the gals swamp him with gifts and well-wishes. “Their cards mean everything to me,” he says. “I don’t think I’ve ever thrown one of them out.”
McDonald could write the manual on customer relations. He exudes integrity when describing what works. “Don’t try to smoke ‘em or gouge ‘em. Be honest,” he says. “I think that’s the most important thing to do. If there’s a problem, explain it to them. It’s the lie they’ll remember, not the glitch. And don’t paste on a smile. Your customers can detect when you’re not enjoying what you’re doing.”

a run of great roles, three for three after playing Corny Collins in “Hairspray” and the gallant prince in “Enchanted.” Clearly, Marsden is a charming and handsome actor who should be doing more light comedy, although the five people who saw him in “Heights” will know that he’s just as capable of drama that doesn’t involve any sort of mutants.
Maintaining her career-long quest to be the one anyone calls when they need a “young Cameron Diaz”, Malin Ackerman is believable as Jane’s sister if not stretching much from previous roles in the scenes used to solidify their sisterly relationship. It’s just as plausible that both women might fall for Burns’ Branson-like philanthropist, a stronger part for him than some of his previous rom-com parts. Sadly, the normally great Judy Greer is the only member of the cast trying way too hard for laughs as Jane’s sex-crazed best friend, the film’s one cliché nod to the genre.
McKenna and director Anne Fletcher (“Step Up”) look more towards romance movies from the ’40s for direction rather than the modern romantic comedies that rely solely on their premise without thinking about the important of good character building, story developments or jokes that are actually funny. Instead of trying hard with laughs in the obvious way, they create fun moments used to build the relationship between Jane, her boss, her sister and the interloper who seems to show up everywhere to plague Jane, culminating in a very funny scene where they mangle Elton John’s “Benny and the Jets” in a dive bar.

A Different Approach to Radio Marketing. Traditionally if you wanted to carry out a spot of radio marketing for your product or service, you would call up a station and ask for their media pack. This pack would include statistics on how successful ads were when broadcast on their station.
The station sales team would make a big point out of their stats before hitting you with the huge cost of running ads with them.
Now think Richard Branson.
How much free advertising has he generated over the years for the Virgin organization? Guess around the millions of dollars mark and I don’t think you’d be wrong. Mr Branson has done many different things and broken many world records, so TV and radio stations have to take notice because what he does is INTERESTING.
Let’s get back to Radio Marketing. Talk show hosts are desperate for interesting guests to invite onto their shows. It’s their job to find new and interesting things to talk about. By making yourself available as a guest, you are DOING THEM A FAVOR!
Radio Talk Show Hosts have a hard time filling in the THOUSANDS of hours of broadcasting time they are responsible for. They want to give you FREE Radio Marketing (advertising) because it helps them sort out their biggest headache!
So how do you get invited as a talk show guest? One way is to sign up with an agent or get represented by a Public Relations firm. Another less expensive way to get your name in front of a talk show’s producer is to send a unique one-page “teaser” that gives the show ideas for a topic (guest included – i.e. YOU) for an interview and give them a few suggested questions to get started.
Mark Kaye has been in the Radio & TV biz for over a decade. He booked radio guests for a living. For the last 15 years Mark had booked HUNDREDS of guests and turned down hundreds more. He does radio marketing for a living. You can read a review of his insider secrets to getting free radio advertising at this website: www.radiomarketing.biz/freeradioadvertising
