Question by coldrivercanoe: Has anyone been to Branson, MO or Gatlinburg, TN? Which one is better?
I am traveling over Easter and just wondering which on people think is better. Better price and things to do or what? How are the people? Friendly?

branson there is very friendly people there you can go by silver dollar city by there and see awesome shows with impersonaters.awesome stuff and rides.neat stuff.

I prefer Gatlinburg. There is a lot to do there. Ober Gatlinburg should not be missed, take a drive to The Cherokee Indian Reservation, scenic drives, Dixie Stampede is an excellent dinner show and the food is good! Lots of shopping, and other activities. I never get bored when I’m up there and I go every year. If you want some really good adventure, take a hike with llamas for a fabulous picnic lunch. The animals are really sweet. Get in touch with Smokey Mountain Llama Treks.(ask for Sandy) Have fun!
I used to live in Springfield Missouri- 30 minutes from Branson.
People there are friendly! Lots of things to do in Branson and it is VERY family oriented. Cheap shopping at the outlet malls, and a variety of shows to see for a huge range of prices.
Branson also has a water park and silver dollar city.
You can get cheap hotel rooms from $ 20 per night.
